To support redevelopment in historically disinvested neighborhoods in Omaha, Spark created a revolving loan fund, called Spark Capital, that enables holistic development projects to move forward that would otherwise struggle to make it. Our goal is to support mission-aligned holistic neighborhood revitalization in the Omaha metro.
Our Spark Capital loan fund provides flexible lending products, with loans ranging between $50,000-$750,000.
Investing in Neighborhood Transformation!
What we finance
Housing
Spark Capital provides financing for the redevelopment or construction of rental housing, including multi-family or single-family homes, and affordable for-sale homes. Special lending products are available through the Middle-Income Workforce Housing Fund (MWHF) to offset the cost of building housing in disinvested neighborhoods via loan forgiveness options. Economic Development
Spark Capital provides financing for commercial and mixed-use development located in and/or serving low- and moderate-income neighborhoods and tenants.
Education
Spark Capital provides financing for childcare and educational facilities that serve low- and moderate-income communities and families.
Health & Wellness
